this guy is shady and will never do business again with them.sold me a door.states has someone to install.never shows up twice so got measurements so he could install framing.did job totaly wrong but charged me for it so cost me a extra 250.00 so the job could be done right. becareful with do business with them .they will rip you off.also his promises are no good lied about the time of pick up.a week later does not ever answer the phone.had to drive there to get his attention.buyer beware sometimes cheaper prices mean nothing

Just left Luis Door & Hardware on Howard Ave after owner cursed me out and threated to hit me. The back story: I had ordered and paid over $1000 for a front entry door for a recent renovation and had it installed by my contractor. Without going into a lot of detail there was a manufacturing issue. When I called Luis door about this issue they told me to bring the door to their shop. I told them the door was installed and taking out would leave the house unsecured. (The house is vacant, on the market and staged for sale) I asked them to send someone out to look at the issue and they said they don't provide that service. So I took some pictures of the issue and went to the store. Upon looking at the pictures, the guy whom I assume was the owner, agreed there was an issue. I was also told it was a manufacturer's issue. The problem with that is I was told when ordering the door that it would be manufactured onsite but learned it was simply a door they ordered from some other manufacturer. Nevertheless this guy insisted I had to bring the door into the store. At that point I made the statement that I would likely not do business with them again and as with any dissatisfied customer, would spread the word. That's when the guy went into a tirade of expletives. Unfortunately, I lost my decorum and called him an a**hole and then he raised his fist and threated to hit me. Folks, just a recommendation that this business should not receive your business as they are indeed not customer friendly. If possible I would not have given them a single star.
