If I could give less than one star -I would. We have had a NIGHTMARE experience I wish we had seen these. Negative reviews prior to giving “Frankie” Humbelio Guevara-Ventura a check for a very large deposit. We thought we had done a thorough job checking references but -we obviously did not… we signed the contract and gave him money back in December 2023. He came up with one excuse after another and then hurricanes hit and he told us that his mother’s home had been destroyed and he needed to spend time there . We stupidly fell for it because we are compassionate people. We were so wrong!! January 2025 came along and he promised us a start date of no later than January 15th . When we did not hear from him, we called and told him that we would like our deposit returned and he agreed to go that. Week after week —he came up with one excuse after another but finally sent us two checks . Neither one of the checks could be deposited because he did not have the funds available . we tried very hard to work with him to pay us —but have heard nothing!! PLEASE STAY AWAY and pass on the word about this poor excuse for a human being…. I hate to think of how many people he has scammed. I don’t understand how he can remain in business! He should be in jail…

Humbelio Ventura aka "Frankie" is a con artist. He did a bunch of remodel work for a property I bought, and the seller never disclosed it to me. After I closed escrow the city of Largo came out and condemned the building because nothing was done properly. I have been trying for months to get Humbelio to close out his permits with city by submitting one simple form but he wouldn't do it. Do not ever use WP Contracting or Ventura and Sons Construction. They are complete garbage.

We bought a home that was completely renovated by Ventura and Son’s Inc. and have had nothing but problems. First our sons ceiling fan fell from the ceiling because it was not put up properly. Second, all of the holders for the bathroom towels and toilet paper have fallen off the walls. When I plugged my computer in the entire breaker caught fire because it was installed improperly. The brand new A/C quit working and the brand new roof has been leaking. We started contacting this company once the problems started. They make appointments to come out and never show. They have come twice and only after making at least a dozen appointments each occurrence. Each time they were late of course, rude and very unprofessional. The renovations have all been completed within the last year and he is now telling us that he does not warranty any of his work, not even a leaky roof or non working A/C. I would not recommend using this company. I’ve told this guy that I am a disabled veteran and on a fixed income and can not afford to pay for someone else to come fix the roof.

These people are liars cheats and will rip you off beware do not use them.
