OKInsulation

I called OKInsulation and he quoted $650 minus 5% if I paid cash to bring the entire attic up yo R-38. I had talked to a couple of other contractors. One said it would cost $1000 and another said they would only blow in 11 40 square foot bags for what OKInsulation was willing to do it for. I called Michael with OKInsulation and he and his daughters got the job done and went beyond what we had agreed on. They used fireproof foam to fill a gap around the hot water heater exhaust and put a piece of R-38 fiberglass insulation on the attic side of the access door where there had been nothing. He and his two daughters laid down tarps before hand and when they were through, they vacuumed the area leaving no trace they had been here. The house is much warmer and the furnace does not come on as often even though it is even colder outside now than before they came. Very proficient and explained what they were going to do throughout the entire process. A great family-owned business. I highly recommend them.
