The Lawn Doctor

I was sincerely hoping that by using the referral service through Lowes that I would have a positive experience with a service person who follows through, knows their craft, etc. Not what happened. It isn’t that he didn’t do a good job – he never showed up. I talked to him on the phone and he never expressed anything about not being willing or able to come and do an estimate for a lawn irrigation system. He told me how much of this type of work he does, that he would be able to come that day and would have the estimate by the next day. He had my phone number and my e-mail. He never came and never contacted me as to why he didn’t. I contacted him again by e-mail in case something had happened to keep him from coming. He never responded. I have had a lot of work done at my house and all of my experiences except for two have been something along this line. It is truly disheartening to not be able to know where to go to find someone who can do the work they say they can do, do it in a timely way, do it right, and be able to advise you versus you having to keep a close watch on everything that is done in order to catch the mistakes and tell them that there is a better way to do it. I know this probably makes me sound like a difficult person to work with, but I am talking about having to correct major mistakes that are about to happen or have happened that they have more knowledge about (supposedly) than I do.
