I did not feel the young man from Cedillo was going to safely going to take the tree down. He did not bring his climber with him. And his hand shake was sad. I don't want someone to squeeze my hand but it needs to not feel like a dead fish. I will not be taking on his team for my project.

We explained to Justin when he done the estimate the situation and requirements that we had from our mortgage company on the repairs. The day after he did the estimate he emailed us an unsigned bid. My husband and I thought the bid was fair because he had included the roof and siding. I emailed him to let him know we would like to work with him and I would let him know when we had gotten the insurance information and sent it to the mortgage company. I also included the information for the mortgage company with the requirements. He replied asking how much we were going to put down. Again I explained we had to wait on the insurance information to be sent to the mortgage company and we were not comfortable moving forward until then. The next message I received from Justin stated my material was in. I again explained to him we had not received the insurance information to send to the mortgage company. We were also needing a signed copy of the estimate, a W-9 at the mortgage companies request. We also needed proof of licensed and bonding. He said he understood that but wanted to let me know they were in and want to bring an invoice to send to the mortgage company. I told him again what we needed for the mortgage company. I requested this on several occasions. When I notified him I had received the insurance information and sent it to the mortgage company. Again I asked him to send the required documents. He stated at that time he would have his secretary start working on it. I didn't receive anything from him. I messaged him again asking if he was still wanting to do the work because we had not received to documents. He said he was out of town. He sent me a message two days later stating he needed the mortgage companies information and claim # because the W-9 form was done electronically now and not in paper form. I know this is not true because I work for a construction contractor and request the W-9 form on a regular basis. I called my mortgage company at this point and they sent me an email to forward to him. I did just that. It had the contact information he needed. I did not hear from him or receive any documents. The next morning I message him and told him if I didn't have them by 2:00 pm I was going with another contractor. I didn't get a response. At 2:00 pm I sent him one final email thanking him for his time and letting him know I had no choice but to hire someone else. He state he just came from the tax office filling out the form. Again the W-9 form is a form issued by the IRS and can be downloaded off their website. Justin also stated it was illegal for him to send that to me. He was given the mortgage companies contact information twice. They were the one's requesting the W-9 form. Justin knew that from day one. That still shouldn't have kept him from sending a signed estimate and provided proof of license and bonding. We have a right to know if a contractor is licensed and bonded before they begin work on our home.
