  | Trane XV20i Installation | Sep 2014 | Removal and disposal of original furnace, coil, condenser, thermostat, and water heater. Complete platform rebuild, due to mold/moisture from leaking original coil. New platform was completely covered in sheet metal to protect the wood from moisture and offer a clean, finished appearance. The new system is Trane's top of the line XV20i system. This system is 100% variable speed, including a variable speed furnace, compressor, and outdoor fan motor. This is the most energy efficiency 5 Ton system available. This is also the most quiet at 55 decibel sound rating. The original water heater was removed and a Navien tankless water heater was installed. A tankless water heater was very important to this client because it freed up valuable space for his second car to fit in the garage. In addition to the split system and water heater, a ductless "mini-split" system was installed to provide cool air in the garage.
