At the outset they seemed the company we wanted to work with. Their estimate for a porch deck was the mid point of several we took. Dale is a good rep for his firm and a good communicator but after the work started we did not see him again. They did not stand by their estimate as the job progressed and sought to increase cost when their materials costs increased. They changed materials without consulting us. They did not help us to understand how the materials would age and weather. They communicated when they wanted to and did not keep us advised of the timing of their work. They demanded we pay for uncompleted work. They waited until the work was completed to demand we sign a warranty agreement that would only stand if the materials were weather sealed and offered to do that work for a ridiculous price. When we questioned the evident outcome of their work the following spring they made us wait from late April to August to give a clear response as to what they would do under their "warranty" which was essentially to charge us more. Their motto should be "it is always the owner's fault".

Creating more storage - Laundry area | Nov 2014 | Client wanted more storage and better organization in the small laundry space in her condo, so we utilized the space above the washer / dryer and installed shelving. She wanted the walls to look nice when the doors were open so we painted inside the closet first, then built the shelving and installed the cabinet. | $1k | Beaverton, OR
1905 Colonial Porch restoration | Apr 2014 | Total replacement of rotted column bases had to happen before we could even touch the porch. This was an interesting project. We brought in an engineer to determine the load we needed to support when lifting the columns off the bases so they can be replaced. We built new bases in our shop, then one by one installed the new ones and let down the columns | $30k | Portland, OR
Back Porch Makover and Dining Room Expansion | Sep 2004 | Bump out existing Dining Room 8 ft and build patio and covered porch. Full re-roof as well. | $40k | Portland, OR |
