Our porch has fancy colonial spindles and once the project was finished and we paid him, we realized that about half of the spindles were installed upside down! He was called but never came back to correct them. Because of the style, it's difficult to know which end is the top and which is bottom but they were not all going the same direction, if they had been it wouldn't have mattered which way they all went. Also, he used nails instead of wood screws to install the floor boards! (who does that?!?!?) I'm constantly pounding nails back down that keep working their way up. Would not recommend this contractor, another one that is rarely on the job site.
