I’m a designer/drafter in Tucson for about 30 years. I’m sorry to say that I’ve now had three clients in the Dove Mtn. area, in the last year, that have had terrible experiences with Jim and Bob Carpenter. I’ve never rated any contractor before but feel it is my duty at a professional to put the word out. They must not be hired. My latest client has spent $1200 to fix poor workmanship on a very small project. Another client had to redo almost an entire project, including materials, for a major remodel. The low price is it worth the very low quality of work. I wish them well but they cannot be trusted to do right by their clients.

Just ran into this guy leaving a Walmart. I can't say anything for his quality of work but his driving is atrocious. Event though I had the right of way down the main drive lane leaving the complex, as I was approaching the stop sign he attempted to pull out in front of me almost hitting me. When I laid on my horn, he pursued yelling at me from his window, accusing me of "hauling ass", note I was going 10-15mph in the drive-lane. He then continued to badger me asking if "I was in a hurry" as he continued to block the road, and then saying, "wasn't there a stop sign?" to which I replied "yes" and pointed to the one 5 ft in front of me that I had been approaching. He continued to block the way and banter for a few more seconds until he pulled out in front of me and peeled off. Like I said, I can't speak for his quality of work but I would definitely choose not to work with someone who appears to have anger issues, ignores basic driving laws, has a bad temper and finds it suitable to curse at women.
