Since I've been living with the problems of the home I purchased for some time now, I decided to review Mr. Jernigan who amazingly ignored all of these problems during his home inspection. I look back at his report all the time, usually after I find out that something new needs to be fixed. His report is so well crafted that you have to be a magician to GET THE MESSAGE that something is badly wrong with this or that. With my first major problem, I looked at the inspection and could not believe he had glossed over the issue. I was also told by a local contractor that he is close personal friends with the selling agent. I could go on and on, but here's the bottom line. This man told me I had no reason to be at the inspection of the home I was purchasing and gave a good list of reasons. His inspection isn't worth the paper it's printed on. And he is not to be trusted. He gets a less than zero rating in my book.
