What started out as a very exciting time in our lives has quickly become a nightmare. And we owe it all to #SilvercrestHomes (https://www.silvercresthomesok.com/), Chinowth & Cohen Realtors and the Jenkins Team - Chinowth & Cohen Realtors, made up by Laurie and her husband, Allen Jenkins. According to its website, Silvercrest builds homes with exceptional quality, honesty, and integrity. Silvercrest Homes builds distinctive homes for first-time and upscale buyers. They claim that buyers will receive personal attention and timely completion. Silvercrest Homes holds itself to an uncompromising standard of excellence. If you are looking for a home builder that has no accountability, no customer service, no transparency, and no follow-through, but are very good at pushing you to make decisions without guidance, requesting more money in the contract phase than what was discussed, lying to you, misleading you, then please take this opportunity to visit them. They have taken the excitement out of the process and when we requested better customer service and a little more insight into what was going on with the status of our build, the owner of the company, Allen, became so enraged that he told our realtor that he wanted out of our contract and no longer wanted to build our house. What a prideful, egotistical, little thing to do. Better that we know that now rather than later. And now, we start all over... Also, this is #ParadeOfHomes week here in #Tulsa.
