I hired Ken after getting a few quotes for a small job at my home. He seemed nice enough and his price was in line, so I moved forward. I had a small, ~20sf section of concrete in my garage that was deteriorating and not in good shape. My goal was to simply remove this, and re-pour a new, flat slab for my tool boxes to sit on. I communicated as such. Ken and his son came and did the job. Both were nice guys, we discussed the job and I left for work. My father in-law paid in full when they were done. The job looked fine, and the concrete was wet, so naturally no way to put a level on it or confirm it's right. A couple of days later, I noticed that the new pour was not flat at all. It was so bad in fact that after waiting for it to cure, when I put the boxes on it the cabinet wont even close right, and the box leans heavily to the left. I called Ken, and he agreed to come out and take a look, though I could tell he was not happy about it. When he came by, he suggested shimming my boxes with some pieces of concrete. Of course this was not an acceptable solution to me, since I paid for a flat new pour. He got irritated and refused to repour it, but agreed to come back with some self-leveler. A month went by of me texting and calling to follow up. He ignored me the entire time. Finally, I got an angry text from him where he said his repair 'followed my original floor' which was already crooked. You can see by the pictures, this is not the case as my original floor is perfectly flat and level. Anyone looking at the holes in the pegboard can clearly see how much his work sinks to the left. He then went silent again after pretending he never agreed to fix it. Good business men admit to their mistakes and take care of them. Now, I have to spend more time and money to fix it myself. Bothers me when good, honest people get taken advantage of by guys like this. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

wonderful experience, total professional. I had my back stairs replaced. They came on Monday and completed the job by Wednesday, working through some very unpleasant weather. Did a great clean up as well. I would highly recommend them for any masonry work you would need around your home. Price was excellent as well! Job well done.
