My furnace did not stop running and it was over 90 degrees inside my house. Pipe Doctor came right away. The man was very professional and clean. He fixed the issue right away. I hired Pipe Doctor to convert my house from oil to gas heating. Since we didn't have gas in the house or even in the street, I knew it was going to be a difficult and expensive task. Mike from Pipe Doctor gave me several proposed system installation quotes and discussed that if my neighbors wanted to convert, National Grid would likely bring the gas line down the block. This was in June. From June to August, Pipe Doctor and 2 other plumbing contractors managed to get the entire block to convert. My conversion happened the day before Thanksgiving, we were supposed to do it the week after, but I was running low on oil and didn't want to buy more. Mike and his crew of 4 men started at 730am. The village inspector came as promised at 10am, and the gas meter came at 3pm. They system was up at running at 5pm. They did to complete job. Chimney lining, oil tank removal, permits, National Grid paperwork, and most importantly, CLEANED UP everything. Not a speck of dirt or dust to be found. They are true professionals to their trade and a valuable asset for the community. Thank you again!

am very pleased with how professional the technician was - and even called personally the next day to make sure everything was working well and if I have any questions. I can't comment on price because I have no comparison, but I feel I got an incredible value for my money. Mike and his assistant George went above and beyond, in my opinion. They are an asset to the company and I will not hesitate to call them again for any future issues. My initial call was for no heat in my home. Mike immediately found the problem, fixed it, but then instead of leaving, checked the gases to make sure they were normal. They weren't. Mike showed me that my carbon monoxide was over 40,000 when obviously it shouldn't be that high. After a few "adjustments" and a cleaning, it was down to ZERO. Like I said, above and beyond!
