Montgomery’s CarpetsPlus/COLORTILE™ is a family-owned and operated business. Vern Montgomery has over 36 years of experience in floor covering having owned and operated stores in Indiana before moving his family to Venice, FL, in 1984. Montgomery’s Carpets was opened in 1998 with wife, Beverly, and sons, Mark and Mike. Beverly handles all the marketing and accounting. Mark has 17 years of experience in the flooring industry. Mike’s background after college was primarily in healthcare. Many of his previous contacts are now our customers. Currently, he manages the operational side of the business. Missy rejoined the business in June 2008 after relocating from Tennessee and resumed her role as showroom manager and vendor consultant.
