First of all writing bad reviews because your not happy are for dumb people! This Sandra Baxter is a perfect example. I had Pete and his crew out to my parents home and we were blown away by how awesome his work was, everything from tile to cabinets. pocket door, shower with glass enclosure ect. I know for fact if there were problems I could rely on Pete to make them right. So maybe in a couple of months my paint might peel or crack but I would'nt bitch. I'd call Pete to take care of it. I've owned a local service company for 15 years now and recently we completed our 40,000 work order. That's right! With that we have 6 google reviews so anyone with a brain can figure out reviews are nothing more than a place for lonely disconnected people to sit and bitch to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Peter McIntyre of McIntyre Construction was hired for multiple projects for our 2 story home. 1st he completely replaced the singles on the roof. So far everything seems to be okay and we are satisfied at this point with the work. However, the reason his company has 2 stars is that we had him completely replace a wall in our dining room and a wall in my home office and close up a wall between our dining room and our kitchen. Here is the problem; it's only been 5 months and the drywall spackel is already cracked in multiple areas of which my house was built in 2002 and the drywall spackel is cracked up stairs in our bathroom but that happened about 2 1/2 years ago but we had this work done in our dining room in February 2017 and my office March 2017 and it's already cracked and separating. We had Peter McIntyre come out and replace our back door with a smaller size door and so they had to frame in part of that area and put up new siding. We have an in ground swimming pool with a concrete deck completely around the pool which runs up to our house at the back door so they had to put in new concrete to fill in the space that was there from when the old door was removed. 1st problem: On the side of the back door there is an outlet and a pool light box of which rain has come down between that and the plastic that they put in there saying that would be okay and that they didn't need to close up that hole because the white plastic stuff would be fine and that they do that all the time. Well that is completely incorrect because we have had to get someone to come out and look at it since we have not been able to get a hold of Peter McIntyre to come out and finish the work they started. He was supposed to come out this past Saturday, July 15th but never showed up. He has continually ignored my husband's phone calls and texts to see when they were going to come out and finish the drywall inside at the back door but more importantly, my husband wanted to show him all the problems that exist to give Peter a chance to make things right. The concrete they put at the back door is completely terrible and looks a mess and doesn't match the concrete that is there. Ours is gray, the rocky sandy stuff his team put in is a yellowish/rusty kind of color and it's very grainy on the feet and shoes. They didn't completely fill in the gaps where deco drain is located so there is a gap along the entire area of the back door on the concrete and where the deco drain is located. We are having our kitchen completely remodeled and were going to use Peter McIntyre for the project but when we saw the cracks in the drywall on the two rooms in our house and then the rain that had come into our kitchen from the poor work that was done around the back door area; we opted to look elsewhere. So I don't know if he is mad because we are using someone else and not his company but at this point we are ready to look for an attorney to take him to court for not finishing the work he started, not returning phone calls so he can fix what is wrong. I firmly believe in giving someone a chance to correct things that are defective or wrong but you can't get that to happen if they completely ignore your calls. Our kitchen is getting brand new flooring put in and right now we are having to find someone that can fix the mess that McIntyre Construction did around our back door because during the last hard rain, it rained in that section where they only put white plastic and it came in from under the frame and into/under the linoleum. I took a video for evidence and pictures to show the wetness and wish I could post all the photos of the work that has been done by this company. I can't believe a company would do something like this but then all of their workers are pretty up there in age but they supposedly have the experience but evidently they don't. I really need to find a site where I can review this company and post photos and a video but I guess we will have to save all that for court. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from McIntyre Construction. Look for a more professional, good quality company that won't take your money and not finish the job or fix what they did wrong. It will save you from heartache and thousands of dollars later.
