  | Custom Porch Swing Build + Installation | Apr 2016 | For this client, we custom built a porch swing that she loved from an episode of Fixer Upper and installed it on her porch. After hand-crafting the swing and finishing it with a white outdoor enamel coat, we installed the swing in her home by adding new ceiling braces on the existing joists, since the existing joists were not spaced correctly to support the custom swing) and eye-bolts to attach the chain of the swing to the newly installed braces. The cost of the swing itself was $700 and the cost of the installation was a little less than $500, tax brought the total job cost to $1230. | $800 | Waco, TX |
