These guys are AMAZING!!! From the moment we met with Chad we knew we had found the right company to work with! Chad was professional, courteous and full of great ideas! After meeting with us and talking about our vision he set up a 2nd visit with Mike (Macon Gardens) to work on plant selection. After they drew up the plans we took a drive to Macon Gardens and Mike walked us through our options and helped us make our final selections. One week later Chad and his team were ready to go! Josh and Brandon did an exceptional job and displayed the same level of professionalism and courtesy both Chad and Mike had shown previously! We highly recommend both 2nd Generation Lawn Services and Macon Gardens for your future landscaping needs!!!

I feel like the word "amazing" is not enough to describe the results that Chad and his team have performed. From the consultation, to the selection of the plants, to performing the hardscaping, Chad was communicative and encouraging the whole way. I originally wanted to get my flower beds in the front to be loosened up (had lots of hard compact clay and dirt) and have the trench expanded but explained that I wasn't sure what else I can do to give my home an appealing and balanced look. Chad took his time and gave a few suggestions on what we can do, the steps it would take, and how important it was that he wanted me to select the plants that would be placed as it really was "my lawn and I should be happy to see it." It may sound silly, that he really wanted me to pick my own plants and shades and mulch, but some companies out there are just not as personable or relatable as he is. After getting a general idea of what I wanted, we met with Mike from Macon Gardens, and he drew up a floorplan of my lawn and asked what kind of plants I liked, etc; and gave me a beautiful drawing of what my garden can look like. Chad was there with me every step of the way and asked any questions that I may have forgotten when we selected the plants. On the day of hardscaping, he and his team continued to surprise me. They worked until everything was done (not even bathroom breaks! :O ) and even though there was a machine that dugged the trench for me, Chad went behind it and used his hands and tools to ensure that every inch was a clean and smooth cut. There were a few instances where the plants were pre-plotted on where they would go and then all of a sudden I changed my mind on the location- just a few inches, not drastically- but Chad and Josh would still loosen them up and put them exactly where I wanted it. They're absolutely the nicest and most diligent people I have worked with so far and I know I will work with them again in the near future. I hired Chad Rodman of 2nd Generation Lawn Care to do some hard-scaping around my property. We installed 92 plants and 6 trees, created several new beds, cleaned out a few, and added a ton of mulch. Chad and his team are highly professional and one of his value adds is that he engages the customer throughout the process to ensure satisfaction. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Highly recommended.
