Beveled Edge Metal Works

Hired Jeff Vickers to build a deck and a pavilion. The work has not been completed yet. I do not believe it will be completed at this point based on Jeff's lack of response. We paid upfront $4,700. Jeff recently indicated that he had exhausted the funding and please see for yourself the amount of work done for a deck and pavilion project. First he dug the holes incorrectly both in size and location. He didn't understand the NC code to build the deck/pavilion. We still gave him another chance. The siding of the house is melted/damaged. He now says that he has too much work and doesn't have the personnel needed as he lost staff in June, and that's the reason for the delay. The project didn't start until the end of July and he didn't tell us about personnel issues before taking up on the project or neither that he couldn't understand the NC code requirements. We showed him the documents/print before starting or paying. He could have walked away and state that he couldn't do the work, and he didn't. He only came to the property a few times to work for a couple of hours. Unless this is all corrected, the review won't be updated. I'm very disappointed the current status and outcome of my project.
