Incorporated in 1994, Home and Hearth Designs focused primarily on custom remodeling jobs, room additions and outdoor living spaces. Following their dreams, this husband and wife builder team obtained their General Contractor's license in 2002 and changed their focus to Custom Speculative building. Challenging the status-quo, Home and Hearth Designs of NC, Inc. (HHDNCI) set a goal to build custom homes with affordable prices. Every home design has functional living in mind, etched with craftsman style and distinction. Custom built-in cabinetry and fireplace hearths are signature items, accompanied by large living areas with great traffic flow for entertaining. Stone, hardwood, tile, granite, heavy millwork, tankless water heaters and Energy Star certification (2009) separate HHDNCI from mainstream builders. Schedule a consultation with HHDNCI and we'll build the plan together incorporating your individual style and personality! A nominal fee applies, but will be refunded with signed contractural agreement for construction work to be completed. 2) Custom Residential Construction: Building a custom home can be overwhelming, but Home & Hearth Designs of NC, Inc (HHDNCI) will walk the client through the project plan at a marginal pace and guide homeowners through decision making processes in a methodical, structured schedule. 3) Residential Remodeling: From room additions, completing unfinished basements, tiered deck systems to outdoor spaces, HHDNCI follows the same philosophy as building a custom home project plan (understanding customer wants/needs, budget, decisions, schedule, completion, punch list), believing that communication, alignment and exceeding expectations are keys to success. 4) Commercial Construction (Unlimited license): New commercial multi-family; retail; existing upfits - HHDNCI can do it all!
