About MSK Design Build
MSK Design Build is a Diamond Certified company that works with homeowners in Contra Costa County to create successful, beautiful and comfortable remodeling experiences. The company partners with its clients to navigate through the myriad choices involved in planning and designing remodels, and its interactive design-build software helps them manage their projects from their personal dashboards or smartphones. Owner Scott Westby opened the doors of MSK Design Build in 2001. Scott works full-time managing the company and overseeing the construction operations in the field, as well as staying involved in the design process. An award winning designer himself, Scott has a great eye for architectural detail, a talent for overcoming design challenges and providing innovative design solutions where others have failed. He has a vision for what can be done in a home, and the ability to bring that vision to reality. Scott has assembled a talented team of 4 designers, as well as a great construction crew, most of whom have been with him from the start. MSK Design Build's project manager works with customers throughout the construction phase and monitors everything from the quality of work to the cleanliness of the jobsite. With skilled craftsmen, designers and project managers on staff, the company strives to make remodeling an easy, manageable and worry-free experience. MSK Design Build has won 13 design-build awards since 2005, including Contractor of the Year for Region 7 in 2007 and 2012. The company invites potential clients to visit its Walnut Creek design office six days a week to see displays of Crystal and Hertco cabinetry, Cambria and Caesarstone countertops, and more.
