I began my career in the construction field in 1986 after eight years with Pabst Brewing Company. In that same year, I owned and operated a cleaning service securing contracts with multiple apartment complexes. During this time, I was able to use what I learned to obtain large maintenance contracts in manufacturing plants and paper mills doing a variety of maintenance, such as: building reservoirs; demolition; rebuilding motor control center rooms; and removing and replacing roofs. In 1996, I continued to grow the construction business by building large dams and reservoirs throughout the southeast for clients such as the Corp of Engineers. In early 2000, I began working with insurance companies to handle claims. I maintained the highest level of professionalism and integrity, separating myself from others. In 2003, due to a friend in need, I went to the panhandle of Florida after hurricane Ivan. There, my company handled over 120 roofing claims and 40 complete re-builds. I worked as an adjuster for a short while just to "get a feel" of what they were learning and to be better prepared when meeting them on a job site today. I am currently serving as Manager of Crown Restoration-Summitt Group in Middle Georgia. We handle storm damage claims from beginning to end to make it as easy as possible for the homeowner. Our dedication to quality and honesty provide the tools we need to make this happen. I've served on the BB regional board of directors, Westfield School and Booster Club as President, Perry United Methodist Church Administrative Board and was elected to the Perry City Council (served two years as Mayor Pro Tem) from 1986-1994, when I moved to Alabama. I have always believed in quality at a high level. I maintain that type of integrity, honesty and fairness with all relationships, be they with client or associates. We are family oriented as a first priority, so we're able to promote our business and the quality work we do. Buddy and his wife Beth of 38 years have 2 children, Brent and Becca, and 2 grandchildren, Lucy and Mac. David and his father Jimmy work together at Crown Restoration & Construction. David has a daughter Addie.
