These are the low points of our experience with Epik: 1) When they remodeled our bathroom, they didn't waterproof the shower properly. It leaked from Day 1. They also installed shower plumbing in the exterior wall, instead of building a chase for the plumbing in front of the wall. We now have to rip out the entire shower and modify the wall to fix the leak and keep our pipes from freezing in the water—all at a significant expense to us. Epik denied responsibility and said they'd charge us to fix it. 2) They were 2 months late on a project that they'd initially estimated to be 6 weeks. 3) We were shaken down for money by a subcontractor. He didn't think Epik would pay him on time and threatened to walk off the job if we didn't pay him directly. I could go on, but this is the gist of it: the work wasn't good and the project wasn't on time.
