Bon Ton Rug Cleansers, Inc

At the end of the 19th century, a young Armenian boy was forced by the horrors of the times to leave his family in Malatya, Turkey and immigrate to the United States. Hagop Dohanian knew no one here and had nowhere in particular to go. He came to the Boston area because there were other Armenians here who would give him a job and help him with his goals. He worked in the Oriental rug business for a few years and when he thought he was ready, started his own company that would eventually become Bon Ton Rug Cleansers.
