BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY A HOME FROM HOMESTEAD HOMES on Route 11 in Watertown down by car dealerships!!!! Do NOT BE FOOLED!!! I don't even know where to begin with this so I'll try and make it short and sweet. We have been back and forth and back and forth with this place. Our roof leaks and has leaked since the first few months we moved in. We got sent a sink with a hole in it, 2 cracked counter tops. One they replaced the other they have had in their possession for over a year now and haven't been here to fix. Our siding all blew off and we had to pay someone to fix it. Shingles fly off the roof all the time. The inside of our back door is rotted because the door was not framed properly and you could probably push right through the floor if you pushed it hard enough. There are many other small issues I can and will go into if someone is interested in hearing it. I also started a claim with the BBB and attorney general all for the owner Gary to come out claiming he cares when in fact he's a condescending rude dick face and I stopped the whole process because he claimed he would do what he could to make this all right and he hasn't done a thing. He claims they have been out here several times and there is nothing on the roof they can see. We have waterspots on our ceiling inside in several different places. We have now been in the house 4 yrs in November and these complaints were all made long before our ridiculous 1 year warranty was up. 1 yr warranty on something we have to pay for for 30 years. The quality of material they use is shit. The guy they use to lay pads and do there other work before the house goes in way overcharges for shit. It's literally thee worst experience of our lives and now we're stuck with this piece of shit house. So even if I am not able to fight this and get our shit fixed right someday I hope these at least prevents other ppl from going there and buying from them. I hope they see this too because you know what you promised Gary and you have no delivered on any of those promises!!!! I'd tag them in this but I'm pretty sure he deleted his FB or blocked me after my review I left. So if anyone sees homestead on here and can tag them that would be great too! I'll also be copying and pasting this to every review site I can find!!!! I will go to no ends to make sure either our house is fixed our his business is closed down. Wes owns and operates a business everyday and would never treat a customer this way. He goes above and beyond for people to make their shit right. Why? Because it's the right god damn thing to do!!! This is ridiculous.
