Darren owner operator was hired Nov 2016 to remodel my trailer in Wild Rose, WI. Was to start in Nov 2016 - Did not start any of the 21 items on contract until I contacted Sheriff in March 2017, Started and stopped on working on trailer that was to be completed by the spring of this year. He attempted to do some work, But did not pull a permit. due to the work he did was wrong and incomplete, no Headers, No wind braces, no ice barrier, no overhang, crooked window inset, Worst was when siding was put directly on 2 x 4 Studs, and was just going to caulk all the gaps, needless to say when question on work he just quit. Took a 60% deposit for the contract and did 3 of the 21 items to be done. He got out of the contractor fraud charge by just doing something, Framed, roofed and siding Completely collapsed within 1 month of him quitting. Now having to sue in small claims to get any of my deposit back and costing almost twice as much to fix what he has had done. It gets worst, friend hired him to do some work right after he started my trailer. He took her money and no work, and there is a 3rd - please always check ccap Jacki G
