About Bill's Custom Painting
Bill's Custom Painting has been in business for over 30 years. I carry a very good reputation and work one-on-one with each client, builder, and interior decorator to achieve my clients complete satisfaction. I offer free estimates and offer discounts to senior citizens; as well as, church organizations and I guarantee my work for one full year. A client's home is a big investment and deserves attention to every detail; therefore, I am on each job from start to finish overseeing my employee's and working right along with them. Because alot of my clients reside in other states and have vacation homes here in Haywood county, I do not make any changes to a clients contract or charge them for work that they have not first approved. You will never be asked to, nor expected to pay any monies up front, but I also expect to be paid once I complete a job and after my client is completely satisfied with my work. If your home has been on the market for a period of time and has not sold, I offer a walk through consultation pointing out things that could help it sell. The job started out very well. The carpentry work was done nicely and the staining was moving along well. The problems started when we suggested that things like downspouts should be moved so they could paint behind them. He immediately got an attitude and rushed through the rest of the job. Luckily, he left some stain behind so that we could go out and get the spots he missed. He must have done the second coat immediately after the first, because 2 weeks later, the floors are still sticky and there were spots that needed another coat.

We cleaned the entire exterior of the home and re-caulked the corners, doors and windows throughout the exterior of the home; all of the exterior, decks and pickets needed re-staining as well. After a good pressure cleaning, we applied a semi-transparent floor & deck stain to the decks and pickets and a Semi-Transparent stain to the exterior of the home. All high traffic areas and deck floors are done in a Floor & Deck stain; which is what I recommend to all homeowners for these such areas.
