Cottonwood Landscapes

Cottonwood Landscaping handled the installation of our sprinkler system, sod, sidewalk and designed/installed our landscaping/hardscaping and water feature. It was a pretty large job – our property is a little over a half acre on a corner lot in a cul-de-sac. Kevin Lyon, the owner, initially impressed us with discussions on various aspects of creative landscaping options for our property and later proved himself to be a true professional who is extremely knowledgeable and humble about all he has done. He was also the only one of several landscapers we interviewed who took the time to offer numerous ideas, listen to what we wanted, and explain their feasibility to include those that weren’t. Most of the other landscapers did not offer any creative ideas and merely told us that we had to tell them what we wanted done and they would make it happen. He and his crew masterfully transformed a challenging lot with various grade steepness into one that blends local plantings and stones into a stunning landscape complete with a dry creek bed as well as a realistic mini-creek water feature. The effective irrigation system is keeping the green things green with minimal run-off (wind permitting) and the water feature at its proper level. All throughout the project, Kevin maintained excellent communication with us and made appropriate adjustments as necessary. He and his team maintained a worksite clear of trash and were very friendly and respectful of us, our dogs, and our property. Cottonwood Landscaping wasn’t the least expensive company we spoke with. However, Cottonwood Landscaping was the only company that really took the time to find out what we wanted AND they delivered! If asked how we would rate Cottonwood Landscaping – on a scale of 1 – 10 – we would rate Kevin and his team an extremely strong 10! We couldn’t be more pleased with the final product. The bottom line is simply this: He and his crew exceeded our expectations and delivered more than we thought possible.
