BUYER BEWARE. I used them because they came recommended by someone who used to have a local plumbing business. Their price was much higher than others but my friend assured me they would stand by their work so I could rest assured that it was money well spent. It wasn’t. On 3/1/22 two people from Becks Plumbing showed up to install a new hot water heater. When they were doing the installation, the two guys that were here called me to come downstairs to tell me that something was gushing water everywhere and that they didn't cause it, it couldn’t be fixed and needed to be replaced. When I had looked at everything when they got here, everything included the now wet floor was dry and there definitely was not a gushing leak as there was now. So somehow 45 minutes after they arrived a gushing leak had sprung. The replacement that they insisted (after saying they had called the owner) was the only option to fix the leak and it would be almost an additional $400. They told me that this wasn’t their fault. The owner showed up and I told Matt that was unacceptable and how did a leak and a wet floor just appear when it hadn’t been there 45 mins before? Good thing I stuck up for myself it turned out to be just a rubber O-ring that needed to be replaced from their pounding. I was upset at their attempt to take advantage and told Matt so. He didn’t seem to care and didn't check up on the work afterward. Since the hot water heater replacement, I haven't really been able to take a shower for longer than five minutes. I haven't wanted to deal with them again for obvious reasons but I also wanted them to complete their job to customer satisfaction so I called on Monday and the lady said that Matt would come out today and look at it. When Matt called me he said that isn't something that is a cause of changing out the hot water heater but that he could come and give me an estimate for new work. I said why would I pay for new work when this wasn't an issue prior to changing out the hot water heater and he said that I'm just looking for problems. He also accused me of saying "you're going to regret this" when what I was going to say was "you're going to accuse me of trying to find problems"? but he cut me off and said he regrets doing this job. I ABSOLUTELY regret hiring him. He was rude and unprofessional. Of course I was avoiding him having to come back into my home. But it is only right for him to fix the work I had paid him for. I would never hire them again and I don’t want someone like that in my home so I canceled what I thought was him coming to fix the issue but turned out to be him trying to charge even MORE!! I should have confidence that I can hire a company to do the work they are hired and paid to do without them trying to get additional money from me in the process. Then they sent an email calling me "low income" and that I was "causing problems" because I want to be able to take a hot shower for more than 5 mins and not have to pay extra when I already paid them $2000 2 weeks ago. I had plenty of hot water for a shower before they installed a new hot water heater.. when I called Monday to report the lack of hot water I was VERY clear that this was since the replacement took place. I would never call them for new work. I didn’t provide comparisons because I chose to go with Beck’s so I don’t see why I would have? I’m trying to cause problems as the accuse me. I was trying to have them complete a job they were paid for. Im not sure why this is such a challenge to accomplish. I get yelled at, insulted and have to deal with nasty emails calling me Names. I’m really not sure how they’re in business.

I wouldn’t use Becks. Horrible experience. They not only didn’t stand by their work, they called me “low income” and said I was “causing problems” and trying to find problems because I had less than 5 mins of hot water after they installed a new hot water heater. It’s not far fetched to call them bullies. They also tried to get me to pay them an additional $400 for for what ended up being their fault and was only a busted rubber O-ring. I’m glad I stood up for myself because they really tried to take advantage of someone that doesn’t have Plumbing experience. I’m not sure how they’re in business.
