Lake Wall

Jan 2013

Existing Lake Wall was constructed from Railroad Treated ties, over the years it rotted away and began falling into the lake. We removed the ties, cleaned the wall edge, lined with waterproof netting and constructed an upper apron from 80/lb concrete blocks. Upon installing an aggregate base and mechanically tamping it down we laid the blocks. We then relocated the sprinkler system back 4 feet and then dropped over the edge 2-4" Gabrian rock to for the lake barrier, the total rock used was roughly 250/m lbs, it worked beautifully. Resodded and seeded the ground. Today the lake waves just break against the rock and the lawn looks fantastic.

Dr. Ricks Retaining Wall

Jan 2013

Removed all old sunken bricks from around front and corner of the house. Dug a bottom trench for the base of the block surround wall. this would also continue across the sidewalk in from of the porch. Project involved setting up correct level foundation and cutting blocks to match contour of the house. We installed several yards of dirt, and then installed a weed block, then mulch. We then planted a host of trees, evergreens and plants to finish the setting
