I went to mandatory arbitration on the issues Koby(CEO) created with his crews David and Kevin. In fact, fortunately I was awarded, but it's less that what I paid for recovery. Here's thing. I wanted to have a blueprint first for remodeling, but Koby insisted that doing electrical works, windows and plumbing first can accelerate remodeling schedule. But fact is, since Koby's company is B - General Building Contractor, he needed to do at least two unrelated building trades or crafts other than framing or carpentry. He didn't tell me about it at all. As the result, these work did not accelerate speed of project at all. I canceled plumbing work because there's been copper everywhere. Therefore, I didn't need to have copper as he proposed. He was trying to snatch my money because he thinks I don't know the fact underneath my house. Electrical work without city permit was executed. He abused my house so bad...like Unnecessary Enlargement, Uncapped electrical wires connected to power panel, Outstanding electric outlet, An unnecessary hole where a new entrance would be installed, which proves that he did it without any plan, Floor damage. Windows installation created further damages...like Unnecessary enlargement of opening, Scattered glasses inside and outside, An Unlock and Cracked window caused by wrong installation( The window in the closet cannot be locked because it's installed wrong, but Koby believe it's arising from the lock itself. This problem was verified by Milgard Sales rep on 11th of AUG, 2018 and he pointed out a crack in the frame arising from wrong installation), Broken wall pieces inside house, Wrong designed windows: No matter how many times I mentioned, he neglected all. He didn't show me the design of windows and finally ordered without my final check. As the result, except two windows(Kitchen and Arched window), other 5 windows are all not what I wanted. While I was in Mandatory Arbitration, he insisted that he caused some of issues because my English is crappy. Therefore I advise you that please be careful if your English is not as good as natives. Eventually he'll bright it up as an excuse why he cannot provide what you want. It took me months to verify what he had done to me, but I really appreciate arbitrator understood what he did to me even if I cannot collect all the money I paid for recovery. I have 2 sons who were 2 and 5 year old when this happened. Please imagine if you need to expose your small kids to those constraction environment. I really hope that my comments would help someone in the future. Well, it's not even worth a single star...lol
