Remodeling Contractor - West Jordan, UT
Because we have partnered with the best designers and craftsmen along the Wasatch Front we are able to deliver exceptional quality at a great price. You'll love living in your upgraded home! Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work? I've always loved building things. When I was a little kid my parents hired a remodeling contractor to finish our basement. I remember watching with amazement as the carpenters and tradesman did their work and transformed our unfinished basement to my new living space! As I continued my education I took every opportunity to learn the business including transferring into a special high school program where we participated in building a home. I sold homes for a local home builder while attending college at Brigham Young University where I graduated with a degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Management. I continued working for home builders and a large remodeling contractor where I established close relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. In 2012 I decided it was time to start my own remodeling business and have loved working directly with clients! I've found great satisfaction in helping people improve their homes. Q. Why does your work stand out from others? Most of our work comes by clients referring us to their friends and family. We take care of the details and keep clients informed throughout the process thus eliminating surprises. We have also partnered with a design center where our clients can sit down with a professional designer to pick out the colors and products for their remodel project. This saves our clients time and energy during the selection process and having a designer there to guide their decisions takes the fear out making a mistake. Q. What are your clients saying about your company? Kitchen and Bath addition. July 2015 JHR Enterprises LLC performed a remodel project in our basement. We were impressed with the proposal JHR gave us, detailing each step of the project with its time schedule, and cost estimate for each step. Once we signed the contract (after reviewing the steps, timeline and costs), work began on our selected starting date. Along the way we kept track of the progress using the timeline chart JHR provided us. Each sub-contractor who came into our house was friendly, courteous and professional. We felt no worries about having them in our home, even when we were unable to be at home. Almost every sub came on time, as promised, and completed their work according to the schedule outlined. JHR handled every detail, from acquiring building permits and required permissions, to final cleanup and touchup. The bottom line is that the project was completed on time, passed every city inspection, and came in under our budget. When we have future projects, we most certainly will call JHR Enterprises LLC, and highly recommend them for their excellent communication, planning, cost estimating, performance and honesty. Anyone using their services will not go wrong. Derrold Dee and Rosemary Harris Whole house remodel. December 2015 "I wanted to provide the below 'customer review' for JHR Enterprises LLC: I would happily recommend JHR Enterprises/Jared Riddle to anyone who is considering a renovation project. In the fall of 2014, my wife and I decided to remodel the upstairs of our home (approx. 1500 sq. ft.). After securing a couple formal bids, we selected JHR Enterprises/Jared Riddle for the following reasons: The prepared/itemized bid was very detailed; The timeline was agreeable; The cost was fair/reasonable; and Jared is an excellent communicator and demonstrated amazing patience while we discussed/scoped the project. Like many who have ever considered a home renovation, our primary concerns related to 1) trust; 2) finishing on time/on budget; and 3) quality workmanship. Now that the project is complete, our experience with JHR Enterprises/Jared Riddle related to the above criteria can be summarized as follows: 1. Trust - Prior to starting the project and meeting Jared, the thought of inviting a general contractor and multiple sub-contractors into our home for a multi-week renovation was a bit unsettling. However, Jared is such a patient and effective communicator that all concerns were quickly resolved. The best part of the project was how well Jared communicated with us on almost a daily basis. Prior to the project beginning, we were provided a 'draft' project plan calendar that detailed what aspects of the project would be completed and on what day(s). Since we were living in our basement, it was nice to know what to expect and count down the days to completion. In addition, Jared made himself available at any time via phone or text to answer questions or provide project updates. This frequent communication and patience throughout created a lot of trust and confidence. 2. Finishing on-time/on-budget - Despite JHR/Jared managing multiple projects (not just ours), our renovation was completed on-time and on-budget (the only changes were requested by us, not surprises from JHR). In fact, Jared never assumed anything. If there was ever a question, he would ask. If there were options (impacting either time or money) he'd take the time to discuss with us. Any agreed upon changes were formally documented and written into the contract, which we appreciated. 3. Quality - Unlike some general contractors, Jared was onsite almost every day of our renovation. This is important because it ensured that Jared was able to supervise his sub-contractors and ensure the job was done right. If something wasn't quite right (or just different that we envisioned), it was corrected quickly before it was allowed to affect the rest of the project. Jared was very interested in our total satisfaction. This ensured we got exactly what we wanted. Thanks JHR/Jared! We love our renovated home. Darin & Jan
