Our Facility team and Advance Construction worked aggressively to mitigate and restore many of the damaged offices due to extreme flooding. (Reception area, Superintendent of Transportation Office, Training Room, Manager of Training, Training Supervisor Office and Lobby Restrooms). As a note this type flooding was considered a (Category One) in the water restoration industry, which indicates that the flooring was clean water. In dealing with water restoration timing is always a key element as it relates to health and safety concerns. I feel strongly that the quick response by our contractors Advance Construction has COTA in a safe position in the removal water and moisture from walls. Testing of moisture levels was ongoing through the weekend. All carpets have been treated with a disinfectant following extraction of excess water in various areas.” Stephan D.
