12'x16' deck

May 2014

The price is both estimate and actual price project was done for. This little 12'x16' deck is framed with 2x8 pressure treated, the surface is Azek synthetic decking and the railings are vinyl. We chose the Azek decking even though the cost is somewhat higher because it is much cooler surface in the warm summer months and requires minimal maintenance. The 6' wide stairs are located on the side as the customer intends to place a small above ground pool in the front of the deck.

Tub and shower surround

Oct 2013

This is a double bathroom remodel. We installed new tub, toilette, vanity, new drywall, painted walls and ceiling, installed tile floor and a tile surround in the smaller bathroom. We did same in larger bathroom, but replaced the existing tub with a large shower. The surround for the tub and surround for both unite were designed to match. In the surrounds we included 2 shelves in each corner of the bath and 3 in each corner of the shower.

Large Deck

Nov 2011

This deck is over 700 sqft. That includes resurfacing of the original small deck and constructing new deck around pool. we used one main carrier beam and a series of interlocked angled carriers near the pool. Framing is 2x10 pressure treated and the decking is Veranda composite decking. The railings are Veranda vinyl. The decking is scribed to the edge of the pool leaving just enough room to pull the cover over it in winter time. this project being done in winter took a little more time we were 2 weeks here.

Generator Shed

Sep 2008

This was a shed attached to existing building for a generator. The foundation is a concrete slab with steel reinforcement. The right hand wall is mostly an existing retaining wall made from concrete waste blocks. The remainder is 2x4 walls with 2x6 rafters. The sheathing is left over metal from the construction of the original building and the doors are handcrafted simple 2x4 sheathed with metal. Roof is asphalt shingles. A lot of this project was done with materials on hand to lower cost for the customer.
