Calfo & Haight Inc

n May of 1967, Augustine "Augie" Calfo and Donald "Slim" Haight decided to go into business and built Calfo & Haight, Inc. At that time there were three employess, Augie, Slim, & Gerry Calfo (Augie's wife). Gerry handled the phones and the books. As the work increased, so did the number of employees. Eventually, Augie's children grew up and two of them became part of the company, Nick and Dawn. Augie's oldest grandson also became a plumber and joined the business. The company started with a focus on plumbing and hot water heat (boilers, etc). By the early 1970's we added HVAC services to take the business in a new direction. We became a one stop shop for our customer's plumbing and HVAC needs! Over the years we changed our focus from tract housing to only custom homes. Our service and repair work hasn't changed, however. We provide service where it is needed. We also do light commercial work (strip malls, stores, day cares, etc.) We are known for our honesty and friendliness with customers. We are very proud of the fact that we still have some of the same customers from 1967.
