John Stirewalt Architect PC

John is the only architect in his small firm. Keeping the business small after forty years of hectic pace large projects let's him offer personal contact and direct supervision on each project. He has designed over 100 homes of distinction on Figure Eight Island and renovated another forty there. While having specialized in water-front designs, he also has designed hundreds of homes in Eastern North Carolina in many fine developments with homes on standard foundations. John grew up in a construction family and was also a licensed building contractor. His knowledge of construction is a valuable tool in detailing each project. John is very detail and budget oriented. His goal is to provide quality design for quality minded owners, spending their budget in a way to accomplish a finished project without breaking the bank. He is a down to earth designer and a people friendly person!
