"We make coming home exciting" Imagine a landscape, plants dancing in the breeze, color ever-changing and wildlife fluttering about. That is our style, a style that separates us from most others. A complete four season effect. At the age of 13, I began my landscaping career. I started by pulling my Dad's push mower behind my bicycle through the neighborhood, I went door to door. After building a small customer list that first summer I was able to work for my first employer. I loved it, it felt good making my customers happy. After seeing a Major League Baseball field cut in a unique pattern, I tried it on my customers lawns. None of the "professional" landscape companies did this. I graduated High School and joined the military. When I returned home I worked as an apprentice under a landscape architect from Cornell University. In 1993, I began to work for myself. I relocated to the Hamptons and worked on large estates. While doing this I attended college studying Horticulture and applied sciences. I received several awards during this time. That is when my first company was born, Kensington Gardens. In 1996, I relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina and changed the name to Greensboro Landscape Designers. After 10 years of great success I came home to the beach. In 2011, I reincorporated to Landscape Resource Group. We are made of 5 of the top companies in the landscape industry serving the Wilmington, North Carolina market. Having a 97% satisfaction rating, we stand proudly behind all of our work.

Corective Pruning | Feb 2010 | Correctively pruned large estate specimen sized Crepe Myrtles that were butched by another landscape company. Crepe Myrtles are historically pruned incorrectly by most landscapers. We go in and hand select the main leaders we want to establish the top of the canopy. This correction is both beneficial to the plant and the home owner. It shapes the tree to reflect a more natural unpruned look. | $1k | Wilmington, NC |
