About J.S Mintz Plumbing
J.S. Mintz Plumbing Service, Inc. has been locally owned and operated for over 45 years providing quality service to Wilmington and surrounding counties. James Stanley Mintz Sr. first opened the full-time plumbing business in 1964 along with his wife, Loraine, and continued to operate the business from their Wilmington home until 1978 when he purchased the building that presently houses the business at 1027 S. 3rd Street. Mr. Mintz built his business on stellar customer relations, built upon honesty and integrity. Upon his retirement in 1992, his daughter and full-time employee Cheryl M. Poole took over the business as President. Along with long-time employee and field supervisor Benjamin A. Simmons. Cheryl has operated the business with the same ethics that Mr. Mintz originally founded the business on. Through ongoing efforts to continuously improve the quality and dependability of our services, J.S. Mintz Plumbing Service now holds numerous licenses in plumbing, electrical and heating and air conditioning in addition to numerous certifications. J.S. Mintz is fully insured for your safety and theirs.
