Margaret Bondy Interiors

Margie was born and raised in Darien, Connecticut and graduated with honors from Choate-Rosemary Hall in 1969 and on the dean's list from Hollins University in 1973. She studied interior design at Fairfield University and has worked in the design field for the past 20 years. Previously Margie worked from 1978 - 1988 as a consultant and product developer for AMC / Federated department stores traveling around the world to procure the latest styles at the sharpest prices. Margie served on the board of the Fairfield County Hunt Club from 1999 - 2011 and on the board of the EQUUS foundation from 2002 - 2010. Margaret Bondy Interiors collaborates with clients to achieve their aesthetic vision and practical needs while staying within their budget. Projects range from working with the architect/ builder on designing the entire house to focusing on just one room. Step one is reviewing the client's items (if any) that should remain and formulating a floor plan.Second,a presentation, usually at our showroom at 652 Glenbrook Rd., Stamford, will include furniture placement, fabrics,window treatments, lighting, carpet, wall color and even art. We can procure upholstery,tables and accessories and arrange the room in just one day or by special order which takes 8 - 10 weeks.
