Burkhart Wood Flooring used 3-1/4" White Oak #1 solid for the field and 3" Walnut select and 3-1/4" White Oak select for the double picture frame border. Prior to installation Burkhart Wood Flooring drilled 4 holes per board, two on each end and made the plugs out of walnut. After the floor was installed and sanded the floor it was finished with 3 coats of commercial grade polyurethane, sheen was semi-gloss and color was natural. Burkhart Wood Flooring sanded newly installed White Oak #2 common hardwoods. Customer wanted the natural wood color. Burkhart Wood Flooring finished the floor with a two component water-base urethane 3 coat system, sheen was extra matte. It was a great match to the barnyard wood decor in the open room layout.

Homeowner hired us to install Eucalyptus hardwood, underlayment and stair treads they had purchased. This exotic wood had very tight moisture tolerances before installation could begin. The hardwood was stacked, chimney style and took 7 weeks for the wood to acclimate before installation could begin. The flooring was lock and click which required a floating installation. to install the steps, the banister and old stair treads needed to be removed prior to installation. This was had some amazing grain and color which the homeowners feel in love with when they were browsing the internet. They especially liked the Green rating since the wood was made from parts of the Eucalyptus, bark, nuts, branch trimmings, etc. and the tree did not get cut down to make.

Apartment building downtown was upgrading apartment from carpet to Luxury Vinyl Tile. We supplied the LVT, 2 in 1 underlayment (moisture and sound), shoe molding and transitions. After removing the carpet and pad, the floor had high and low spots that needed to be fixes before we could install the LVT. We were able to use leveling compound to flatten the floor. The project cost included all materials and labor. The manager was under a time constraint to have ready for new tenants. Because the installation was vinyl and a floating application and we were able to install the floor in the evening and not disturb other tenants.

All materials and labor included in cost. Services provided were to make custom parquet blocks made from walnut and white oak select hardwood, Supply install 3-1/4" solid #2 common white oak. Install 7 flush mount floor vents into existing hardwood floors and 4 in the new hardwood floor. Supply and install white oak shoe mold. Sand and finish, color to be natural with 3 coats of oil based urethane.
