About Eric's Electric Service
Eric's Electric Service Pros, We are based in Howard County Maryland. Maryland state licensed and insured. The areas we cover are: Howard, Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties. Eric's Electric Service Pros (formerly Columbia Electric LLC) has been serving the families of Howard and surrounding counties since 1994. As always, quality is our main focus. The owner, Eric Fries, has been an electrician for 31 years. He graduated with honors from the Independent Electrical Contractors apprenticeship program at Prince Georges Community College. Eric is a hands on electrician. You will often see him working side by side with his apprentices.

I have used Eric on several occasions and have always been extremely pleased with the quality of his work; his timeliness and pricing. I highly recommend him if you are ever in the need of an excellent electrician.

Eric installed a chandelier in our dining room and did a wonderful job. He even left to go to the hardware store to purchase new bulbs and a dimmer so that we'd be completely happy with the finished product. We're going to use him again for a couple future products we're planning.

It was obvious that Eric was much more knowledgeable than the previous companies that came out for estimates. Eric was willing to take the extra time to make sure I was comfortable with the entire installation process. Would recommend to anyone!

I hired Eric to replace a breaker panel to support of a major renovation project that included bringing in underground power. He coordinated his work with the power company and made himself available to do his work at the same time that the underground power was installed. His work was very professional and we would gladly use him again whenever needed.

| EV Charging station (Electric car charger) 50 amp | Feb 2016 | We were hired to install a electric car charging station in Ellicott City Maryland. Our customer originally wanted to install a 30 amp charger. We quoted the install at $750. They called back and had a change of plans for the Electric car charger, it was now going to be a 50 amp charger. This involved more labor and material, totaling an additional $275. Also, the new charger was going to cost them another $200. We recommended that they order a Juice Box charger that we have installed in the past. This new charger actually cost $200 less than the other upgrade charger. So, now the actual totall job cost to the customer, only went up $75.
