ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!! THEY ARE BAIT AND SWITCH SCAMMERS! If you search for Tony's phone number in Craigslist, you'll find a bunch of complaints about these guys. They also have a Facebook page that is nothing but complaints about these guys. This is the review I posted there. "Bait and switch" - quote low rates, show up four hours later than scheduled, find out the two movers they sent had just moved a HUGE FOUR BEDROOM HOUSE all day and were exhausted and surly. They loaded a few things. My phone rings. I'm extorted for another $125. They leave half my stuff there and just take off for the new place. I end up moving int my new apartment at 11 pm at night. Despite being told there was a flight of stairs, guess what? My phone rings again. They had all my stuff sitting out on the sidewalk in front of the entrance, and extorted me for another $100 before moving it upstairs. Meanwhile, I'm working harder than they are to get the job done. AND I HAVE CANCER. At one point, I take a break, and one of the workers sits down next to me and hits on me for 20 minutes. Yes, completely hitting on me. Oh, and did I mention, they were mad about the stairs, so they took boxes marked FRAGILE and literally slammed them on the ground. I had entire boxes of things CLEARLY MARKED FRAGILE that were destroyed. I was assured in an email by "Tony" that I was insured up to $50,000 for the move. Hm. Yes. Well. At 1 AM, after hauling more stuff upstairs myself (although Tony told me in an email the workers would "take care of everything" and I didn't have to do a thing) I check to see if my phone had charged and discovered I'd missed about 7 calls from their office manager (who was the one who had been extorting me all along) and a series of rambling, threatening, "God will damn you" text messages. As I'm reading through them, appalled, exhausted, my phone rings AGAIN. Guess who? And she's screaming so loud and won't stop screaming that I can't even speak. Can you guess what she wanted? Yes. More money. However, I refused. And she screamed. And screamed. And screamed. And I calmly kept telling her if she didn't stop screaming at me, I was going to hang up and ultimately that is what I had to do. And then suffer yet another barrage of text messages from her, saying I was going to hell, and God doesn't love me, and all kinds of crazy stuff. And I had to go back to my old house and spend an ENTIRE DAY loading a truck with the stuff the movers CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR and DIDN'T EVEN TAKE! After documenting all the broken stuff (including antique armoires and artwork), I contacted Tony by phone and email to find out about the $50,000 insurance coverage on the move so I could make a claim (even tho the screaming office manager told me there WAS NO INSURANCE on my move) ... surprisingly, I have still not heard back from him. So I am contacting every regulatory, state, and government agency I can think of about their bait and switch fraud, attempting to get their licenses revoked, if they indeed actually have any, find out who the insurance carrier is, if there is actually one, and if they do not make remuneration on the damages and the entire day of lost work I spent going back and doing the job I PAID THEM EXTRA TO DO AND THEY DID NOT DO, then I am filing a claim against them in civil court. If anyone is interested in joining the lawsuit - because I doubt very strongly I'll hear from these scammers - please feel free to contact me. This is a 100% scam operation and I've found complaint after complaint about them online. They should be ashamed of themselves and maybe go into another line of business because they completely suck as movers.
