Our kitchen was the most neglected room in the house. Our cabinets were fine structurally and organizationally, but were borderline gross cosmetically. Not only were they dark and dingy, but they had plenty of scrapes, scratches, and sticky patches that made the whole kitchen feel dirty no matter how much you cleaned. We approached the Furniture Forge with the idea of doing a facelift on our cabinets, and we were super impressed with the options we were given to make our kitchen feel new, without having to do an entire remodel. We chose to work with Alton at the Furniture Forge because it was very clear that he is a true craftsman, one of those rare breed types that knows exactly how to deliver exactly what you want. At the end of the day, Alton repaired our existing cabinet boxes, installed new cabinet doors and drawers, installed pullouts, and painted everything white. Saying we were impressed by the work would be an understatement. The two main reactions to the kitchen cabinets were this: 1) This is the way our kitchen is SUPPOSED to look, and 2) with a couple cosmetic changes, our kitchen went from the ugliest room in the house to the nicest room in the house. We absolutely love our new kitchen. The white cabinets with wanes coating on the doors feels so bright and fresh. The pullouts make storage much more efficient in our cupboards. And with 3 small kids, the room that my wife spends most of her time in is now a happy place for her. We are so grateful to Alton at the Furniture Forge for the stunning work he did for us, and would absolutely recommend him without any hesitation to someone looking for something new in their kitchen.

Working with this craftsman was an amazing experience. We were able to refine our initial design with Alton when we presented it to him. We were part of the project from the beginning to the final cabinet installation. The details, the quality and the ease were unparalleled.
