| CONTEMPORARY KITCHEN REMODEL ~ OLYMPIA, WA | Oct 2016 | Inspiration for the Perlot family contemporary kitchen remodel came about by a not-so-pleasant happenstance of a very damaging dishwasher water leak. After placing an insurance claim, the homeowners worked with The Showroom to redesign their 20 year old kitchen. Kim and John at The Showroom assisted the Perlot's with their kitchen redesign and developed a seriously durable and modernistic kitchen arrangement that incorporated traditional and contemporary looks accommodating the family's aesthetic, cooking and entertaining needs. The kitchen layout was redesigned by repositioning the microwave to free up countertop space and a new island with a sink and garbage disposal was incorporated to ensure everything was in sync. Being that the kitchen was a north facing room and didn't get a lot of light, the goal was to brighten the room. The solution?
