Tyler, Your project came out beautifully and was actually featured in Charleston Home Magazine. The dock is finished. Even so, you did not pay us for the final payment you owe. During the course of your project, you requested several change orders. Those changes / additions take extra time, particularly the custom fabricated portions that we have to order. Additionally, there were storms and a hurricane during that time. We work in the rain, but not in storms. We installed the piling caps that you agreed on and electrical lines on the dock just like our contract states. Homes typically have power connections running from the house that we would connect to. Since your property was under construction, this was not done yet. Even though running power lines through the yard is outside the scope of work in our contract, we were willing to add it in anyway. You decided against that though because we charge for that. It is a good deal of work and we need to pay our team when they work. You asked us to add a few other things to the completed project at the end, but did not want to pay for the work done or for the additions. We take your accusations very seriously. What you are claiming is untrue. We have acted in good faith and have provided you with a great product. That being the case, it is very disappointing to see that you have chosen to slander one of our employees.
