Took over a job that was given to him by another company that was too busy to do it. The first company had ordered the fence brackets. Ordered them too short, but Johnson purchased the brackets from them. They were to replace the gates (3) on my privacy fence. They realized the gates were a little short, but went ahead anyway. They talked about ordering the correct size gates but didn't want to wait three days, so they used the existing gate brackets instead. They really didn't think things out at all, just started mounting the brackets on the 6x6 posts they installed, not paying any attention to how they would align up, or open. They put 2x4 horizontal rails nailed into the aluminum frames. Put the 2x4s on the wrong side of the brackets so that the 1x6 rails didn't have much support at the top and bottom, therefore they tended to bend outward quickly. They left all of the price tags on the bottom of each 1x6 rail (too big of a hurry to pull them off with their fingers). The next day after they left I found several rails that they didn't even put nails into all of the 2x4 posts (3), only nailing on nail at the top 2x4. Totally incompetent! They put the gate latches on by just screwing them into the 1x6 rails, not nearly enough strength to hold the latch when shutting the gates. One latch completely fell off within one week. Johnson said he would come back out and fix the whole thing free. Total BS! He never showed, refused to answer phone calls, took the money and ran. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON! Has no concept of how to build a fence. One gate's U-joint was put in upside down, all the other gates were okay. He made up some story on why he inserted the on u-bolt upside down. Total BS again. I had to completely redo all of his work. Take heed. I've instructed my subdivision to not let him work in this area and will consult with our architect on the other six subdivisions that the architect has HOA covenants on.

Absolutely awesome. Did everything I asked for and exceeded my expectations at a price that I thought was very reasonable.
