From a small garage beginning in 1996, Suncoast Building Products & Services, Inc. has grown into a powerhouse business today, serving all of the Grand Strand, SC area, as well as surrounding counties and neighboring states. Our understanding of the principle of customer satisfaction keeps our contractors, home owners, business owners and their referrals coming back year after year. President Darryl R. Hill began his subcontractor's career in Greensboro, NC working for QI-Renn for 11 years. During this time he mastered gutter installation, making it a craft instead of a job. He advanced quickly to a crew chief position, then to a foreman and finally a warehouse manager. QI-Renn decided to open a new branch in Myrtle Beach, SC. Management needed someone to relocate and help with a start up for the gutter department. "Darryl is the best choice. He is the fastest and most efficient gutter installer on the East Coast," David Vella, Regional Manager said about Darryl. Darryl was asked to take the position and he accepted. He transferred to Tri-City Insulation and Building Products of Myrtle Beach in June of of 1996. Darryl by himself worked for three years installing gutter for Tri-City until he had performed enough work to earn Tri-City an excellent gutter business on the Grand Strand. In 1999, Darryl decided to leave Tri-City and pursue his life long dream of owning his own business. Darryl, with a small business loan purchased a machine, a trailer, a small amount of material, a fantastic logo and on April 1, 1999, Suncoast Building Products & Services, Inc. opened. Now 15 years later, Suncoast Building Products & Services, Inc. has the largest quantity of work on the Grand Strand. Over the last five years, Darryl has added shower door, shelving and mirror installation to the company's menu. He added shower door, shelving and mirror manager Orion Loftis, who like Darryl has an excellent reputation and more than eight years experience in those areas of installation. Both have the reputation for excellent craftsmanship, customer service and guaranteed best value for the price. Darryl guarantees and stands behind all of his company's work.
