My driveway is very obsolete and complex as far as the drainage went and I wasn’t sure anyone was going to to be able to pitch the driveway the way I wanted them to . And I was right at first a few estimates that I had received told me it was impossible to do what I wanted to do but didn’t give me any other options or tell me what should be done . Dominick (the owner) met me and just after a few minutes of talking with him I could tell he was much more knowledgeable and experienced than the people before him he stated explaining how he would grade the driveway so that it has 2 different areas where the water pitches and how we should install French drains (which work amazing) in front of the garage . Overall he was not the cheapest estimate I had received but I didn’t care I felt his price was more than worth his work and I was right I would use him again and again .

i am writing this review a year later because I never review anything immediately. I purposely waited one year to see how the driveway would hold up and man it still looks great ! Thanks Dominick and crew at Platinum Paving for a great job that I am confident will last me a long time .

I have not interview other paving companies, so I cannot say if his price is competitive or not. But I hired Platinum Paving out of complete trust. They promised to do a number of “fixing” jobs; 1) to raise and level sunken paved drive way in different sections. 2) to power wash my patio, 3) to fill in cracks in the gaps between the blue stone patio tiles. I gave them 3 stars because they did work hard. I have to say that the crew was a very hard working crew, who worked from morning to late afternoon. It is Dominic that failed to live up to his promises. Especially by the fact that he was not there most of the time (3 days of work). At the beginning, it seemed like they were doing the job as described in the contract. But since Dominic was not on the site frequently enough, the crew decided to take apart the side patio, which looked perfectly fine, (and was not mentioned in the contract). This extended the duration of the job, but worse than that – after they put it all back together, the patio does not look the same… since the white cement/grout was not done neat enough. When I inspected the property at the completion of the job, (and gave the foreman the check), it seemed that it was satisfactory. But the next day I noticed that I overlooked some details that showed that “the job was not completed”; 1) the debris and extra bricks were left in the back yard under the evergreen tree. 2) the lawn furniture were left on the lawn instead on the patio 3) some bricks were put in without the cement, so they are completely loose (can be removed with fingers), 4) the fill-in on the patio (white), overflowing the crack dimensions, so I have square white marks all over). I contacted Dominick Stanko and asked him to come and look at the final product and correct the problem. He twice promised to stop by and look at what I was saying. After not showing up, I emailed him, but he claimed he never received my mail. I texted him, threatened to give him a bad review online, so he responded asking for more time for him to show up. Up to today, he has disappeared.
