GO ELSEWHERE. 4 months in, shrinkage cracks, heaving, and disappointment. Huge shrinkage crack, soaking up water and only getting worse. He comes to my house and i had said there likely was not enough gravel, or there should have been expansion material around the NDS drain. He said he would come back and prove there was enough gravel. They TORE UP AN ENTIRE SQUARE. We found big clods of clay, and some uncompacted class 5 gravel. He said if we found anything less than 6" of gravel that he would fix the entire job. We found 5" of gravel (in this spot, around the edge its about 1 in). This is when he starts getting loud and obnoxious. Now he refuses to even fix the part of the walkway they tore out, let alone the "Apron" that actually sits above the garage floor. At least i can slope the clay away from the house (they also left huge cracks in my house's wall from their hammering. Dust EVERYWHERE, didnt even offer to clean up the mess they made. His employees were not even provided eye protection and only a dentist's mask for cutting thru 5 inches of concrete. I am unsure he understands just how much harm he is putting out into this world!!!! My daughter can no longer even play outside because there is a giant pit where our sidewalk used to be. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FIXING THE SIDEWALK VIA WARRANTY, NOT BREAKING IT AND THEN ASKING FOR MONEY TO FIX IT. Dale's site says many things, but it fails to say that they are not responsible for any of their work and cracks, heaving, water running at your house instead of away from it, and a swimming pool of water blocked in by your apron is all normal features of their concrete. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. He now keeps calling me and telling me I lost. He also said that he thinks the water will slope at the house a lot more now that there is a HUGE HOLE IN THE SIDEWALK, then he laughed. This is the owner of this company? save yourself. 3 year unconditional warranty - after 4 months we have significant heaving, cracking due to no expansion material around drain, and now an entire piece of the concrete was torn out and they do not plan to come back unless i want to pay for their "IRONCLAD 3 YEAR WARRANTY". The strange thing is he did not even try to say that those cracks are normal, or that water should be sloped at the house. He just came over and destroyed the sidewalk, freaked out then made fun of me for having a broken sidewalk and then left. Check out what he offers if you try to make a warranty claim. And yes, they drove a bobcat over my little shrub there, i dont think it will live.
