Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

Pronto installed a Bryant high efficiency heating and AC system on July 20th for a Plymouth, MN customer who was purchasing the house the SAME DAY. The AC was broken and the new buyer had negotiated with the seller to cover the AC cost. This was a tricky deal because the furnace was old and also needed to be replaced. The new buyer wanted the new system installed as soon as they closed because the AC no longer worked and they did not want to move in with no AC in July heat! Pronto was able to accommodate them during our busiest season. Heres what Pronto installed: 1. Furnace - We replaced the rusty old 92% single stage furnace with a 96%, 2-stage, variable speed furnace. The new furnace will run more quietly, heat the house more evenly, save a bunch of money in gas and electricity, and can circulate air continuously for pennies, resulting in cleaner indoor air. 2. Air Conditioner - We replaced the broken and ancient AC, which had growing sinkhole underneath it. With a new Bryant Puron 16 SEER AC. Before setting the new unit Pronto backfilled the ground with new soil so the new AC would not sink into the ground like the old one. The new AC system will save money, run more quietly, and uses Puron refrigerant so it will never hurt the environment. 3. Air Cleaner - We updated their filtration from a garden-variety 1 basic filter to a more robust 4.5 pleated MERV 13 media AND increased their air flow by increasing the return air capacity and updating the filtration to trap much smaller particulates. This saves money by improving air flow, reduces noise, improves health by capturing allergy causing particulates, and is way more convenient to own. The filter need to be replaced at most twice per year. 4. Thermostat - We replaced the digital thermostat that chronically flashed 12:00 AM with a new Bryant Housewise WiFi programmable thermostat. The Housewise is super convenient because it is fully programmable; can be accessed remotely from any computer, tablet or smart phone, monitors energy use, and gives up to the minute weather reports. This customer was new to his home and wanted to update his system to improve energy efficiency, comfort, air quality. He also thought his old system was too loud and he hated the thermostat, so getting something quieter and more convenient to operate was important. Prontos Home Solutions Advisor Kurt met with the home owner on July 14th to go over the projects and discuss options. Kurt recommended the same Bryant Evolution system he had installed in his own home in 2014. Here is a summary of the components of the system and installation: 1. Furnace - We replaced a 92% single stage furnace with a Bryant Evolution 987 Modulating Variable Speed Fully Communicating Furnace. Properly installed the 987 will deliver the most even temperatures optimizing home comfort. It is also the quietest furnace on the market. 2. Air Conditioner - The customer's AC was only 6 years old but it was older technology and was not cooling the house effectively. Pronto installed the Bryant Evolution 187B Two-Stage AC with matching indoor Cased AC Coil. We also set the AC on a new fiberglass AC pad and installed new refrigeration lines with a new UV cover to prevent the insulation from deteriorating. The Bryant 187B Two-Stage AC is designed to save money via low electric consumption AND provide superior dehumidification without overcooling. It is also Ultra-quiet. Shhhh. 3. Thermostat-Zoning - Pronto replaced all the thermostats, zone dampers and zone control panel in the home. Replacing the old stuff with Bryants exclusive Evolution Modulating Zone system which includes the communicating Bryant Evolution Connex Contol with WiFi. This state-of-the-art technology manages air flow perfectly to balance comfort and energy consumption. 4. Air Purifier - The Customer took a monumental leap toward better indoor air quality by installing the Bryant Perfect Air Purifier. The MERV 15 Perfect Air is awesome for allergy relief, but it also traps and kills viruses, mold and bacteria so it can reduce incidents of common cold and flu. 5. Humidifier - Pronto replaced the humidifier with a Bryant Automatic bypass model and replaced the bypass pipe with a new aluminum pipe. This humidifier detects the outdoor temperature and regulates the humidity level automatically to prevent window condensation. Talk about convenience! 6. Install Notes - This was a tricky installation because we had to run the PVC vent pipes through the backside of the garage roof. Fortunately this is a fairly common practice at Pronto so we were able to execute it without a hitch.

Pronto installed the following system in Eden Prairie last week: 1. Furnace - We replaced a 70% single stage furnace with a 96%, 2-stage, variable speed furnace. The new furnace will run more quietly, heat the house more evenly, save a bunch of money in gas and electricity, and can circulate air continuously for pennies, resulting in cleaner indoor air. 2. Air Conditioner - We replaced the 19 year old Trane Freon AC which was leaking ozone depleting refrigerant into the environment with a new Bryant Puron 16 SEER AC. The new AC system will save money, run more quietly, and will never hurt the environment. 3. Air Cleaner - We updated their filtration from a garden-variety 1 basic filter to a more robust 4.5 pleated MERV 13 media AND increased their air flow by increasing the return air capacity and updating the filtration to trap much smaller particulates. This saves money by improving air flow, reduces noise, improves health by capturing allergy causing particulates, and is way more convenient to own. The filter need to be replaced at most twice per year. 4. Thermostat - We replaced their old, inaccurate golden donut mercury switch thermostat with a new Honeywell WiFi programmable thermostat that can be accessed remotely from any computer, tablet or smart phone. In addition to being able to change their home temperature from anywhere they have internet connectivity, out happy new customers will also be able to heat and cool their home to exact temperatures.
