Had this guy install two units and both of them go out within a few weeks of each other. He spent almost 2 hours in my house and could not diagnose the problem. He said that there was a buzzing sound meaning that the blower was trying to work but it wouldn’t cut on. When I had Spring Valley heating and air out they said this was an indication that the transformer was going out and needed to be replaced. Seems like an easy catch for somebody who knows what they’re doing. He no call no-showed multiple times over the course of a few weeks and continue to give me dates that he would come over and never showed up. I finally had a professional come out and spent an hour rewiring his faulty work. It is working great now. Soon after that the other unit went out and he refused to warrantee it and said that I was lying about the issues I was having with my original unit and actually blamed me and said I was tampering with it. I wouldn’t even know where to begin nor would I dare tamper with electrical. My entire house smelled like pot and cheap cologne for hours after he left and was unable to even diagnose the issues. The professional company that I had come out was Spring Valley heating and air and they did an amazing job and half the time that Shawn was there. They noted that the buzzing sound that Shawn said was normal was actually a transformer going out and had to be replaced . It doesn’t seem like this guy really knows what he’s doing. He provides cheap labor but please trust me when I say it’s worth paying to get a professional out to do the job right the first time. This guy does not stand behind warranties and is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever had out to do work for me in my entire life. Stay as far away as you can, trust the professionals when it comes to HVAC.
